The Authorise Requests screen provides a list of requests, and allows the user to change the authorisation status of the requests.
This screen can be navigated to –
- Selecting the Requests tab in the menu.
- Selecting Authorise Requests, located under Requests for Open Sources.
Filters
The data can be filtered via several dropdowns at the top of the page.
| All | show all requests |
| Authorised | show authorised requests |
| Rejected | show rejected requests |
| Awaiting Authorisation | show requests which are awaiting authorisation |
You can also filter by Department or All Departments.
Fields
| Date Required | when the compound is required |
| Compound | name/details of the compound |
| Activity | activity required |
| Quantity | quantity required |
| Concentration | concentration required |
| Specific Activity | specific activity required |
| Authorisation | authorisation status |
| Order Number | unique order reference number |
| Reference | unique reference for the compound |
| Requested By | the user requesting the material/intended owner |
| Project | a project number or study number |
| Date Requested | date/time the request was made |
| Department | department that requires the compound |
| Catalogue Code | the manufacturer/supplier’s catalogue code for the compound |
| Supplier | supplier of the compound |
| Cost | the cost of the compound |
| Expected Delivery At | the date/time the delivery is expected |
| Ordered At | the date/time the order was made |
| Ordered By | the user that made the order |
Table
The table displays data in accordance with the filters, and is additionally colour coded.
| For Authorisation | request is waiting to be authorised |
| Authorised | request is authorised |
| Authorisation Refused | request has been refused authorisation |
Selecting an item opens up the information panel for the relevant request.
Panel
At the bottom of the panel are a number of buttons.
Authorisation
Opens up the Authorisation panel for the selected request.
Edit
Allows the user to edit the details of the selected request.
This opens the Edit Request panel. It is identical in operation to the Add Request panel.
Delete
Allows the user to delete the request.
This opens the Delete audit panel.
