Authorise Requests

    The Authorise Requests screen provides a list of requests, and allows the user to change the authorisation status of the requests.

    This screen can be navigated to –

    • Selecting the Requests tab in the menu.
    • Selecting Authorise Requests, located under Requests for Open Sources.

    Filters

    The data can be filtered via several dropdowns at the top of the page.

    Allshow all requests
    Authorisedshow authorised requests
    Rejectedshow rejected requests
    Awaiting Authorisationshow requests which are awaiting authorisation

    You can also filter by Department or All Departments.

    Fields

    Date Requiredwhen the compound is required
    Compoundname/details of the compound
    Activityactivity required
    Quantityquantity required
    Concentrationconcentration required
    Specific Activityspecific activity required
    Authorisationauthorisation status
    Order Numberunique order reference number
    Referenceunique reference for the compound
    Requested Bythe user requesting the material/intended owner
    Projecta project number or study number
    Date Requesteddate/time the request was made
    Departmentdepartment that requires the compound
    Catalogue Codethe manufacturer/supplier’s catalogue code for the compound
    Suppliersupplier of the compound
    Costthe cost of the compound
    Expected Delivery Atthe date/time the delivery is expected
    Ordered Atthe date/time the order was made
    Ordered Bythe user that made the order

    Table

    The table displays data in accordance with the filters, and is additionally colour coded.

    For Authorisationrequest is waiting to be authorised
    Authorisedrequest is authorised
    Authorisation Refusedrequest has been refused authorisation

    Selecting an item opens up the information panel for the relevant request.

    Panel

    At the bottom of the panel are a number of buttons.

    Authorisation

    Opens up the Authorisation panel for the selected request.

    The authorisation status of any request, whether it has prior authorisation or refusal, can be edited through this option.

    Edit

    Allows the user to edit the details of the selected request.

    This opens the Edit Request panel. It is identical in operation to the Add Request panel.

    Delete

    Allows the user to delete the request.

    This opens the Delete audit panel.
