A default label printer is selected automatically when printing labels. You can set a general default or choose a personal default to override it.

To set the general default printer:

    • Navigate to the Printer Settings screen. This is found under Setup, under the Labels and Clipboards section.
    • Click inside the Printer Settings panel. This opens the printer settings form.
    • Select the required printer from the Default Printer For Device dropdown.
      • The dropdown lists the available installed printers.
    • Select Submit to save the chosen printer.

To set your personal default printer:

    • Navigate to the Personal Settings screen. This is done by selecting the person icon at the top right of the page.
    • Select the Automatic Label Printing pane near the bottom of the page. This opens the Printer Settings panel.
    • Select the required printer from the Default Printer Override For Device dropdown.
      • The dropdown lists the same printers as the general printer settings.
      • Your personal default overrides the general default when printing labels.
    • Select Submit to save the chosen printer.

If the printer settings do not load:

    • Check that the IsoStock Cloud Utility service is correctly configured and running.
      • On the Printer Settings screen, an error message will be displayed and the page will be empty.
      • In Personal Settings, Default Printer Override For Device will appear red with Failed to load. Selecting the pane will display an error message.
    • Once the service is correctly configured and running, refresh the page and select the required printer.
