Set Up a Calibrator

To set up a calibrator:

• Navigate to Setup and select Calibrator Settings under Calibrator. This opens the Calibrator screen.
• Click inside the Calibrator Settings section. This opens the Calibrator panel.
• Enter the calibrator details –
  • Select the Calibrator Model from the dropdown.
  • Enter the Name / Serial Number of the calibrator.
  • Select the COM Port to which the calibrator is connected.
• Select the communication settings to match those configured on the calibrator –
  • Baud Rate.
  • Number of bits.
  • Parity.
  • Stop bits.
• Select Use manually set profile, if required and supported by the calibrator.
  • When selected, the nuclide profile must be set on the calibrator and must match the nuclide selected in IsoStock.
  • When not selected, IsoStock will request that the calibrator sets the nuclide profile.
• Select Submit to save the calibrator settings.

Once configured, the calibrator can be used on supported forms by selecting Read beside an activity field.
