Open Sources

    The Open Sources page displays a list of the open sources.

    This screen can be navigated to by –

    • Selecting the Open Sources tab in the menu.
    • Selecting Open Sources, under the Open Sources section.

    Filters

    The data can be filtered via several dropdowns at the top of the page.

    The first dropdown is for the availability of the open sources, and defaults to Currently Available.

    Currently Availablesources which are currently available
    Available or Disposed within Last Weeksources currently available or were disposed within the last 7 days
    Available or Disposed within Last Monthsources currently available or were disposed within the last month
    Received During*sources received during the defined period
    Disposed During*sources disposed during the defined period
    Received During and Still On Site*sources received during the defined period which are still on site
    * The set period is defined by a time period selector, which will become visible when required.

    The second dropdown allows the data to be filtered by several different options. The default will filter By me, the current user.

    By meopen sources which are owned by the current user
    By my departmentopen sources which are owned by current user department
    By compound name or catalogue codesearch by input compound name or catalogue code
    By projectsearch by input project name
    By protocolopen sources which are under the selected protocol
    By useropen sources which are owned by the selected user
    By departmentopen sources which are owned by selected department
    In locationopen sources which are stored in the selected location
    Allall

    The final dropdown further filters the table to only display open sources with a particular status.

    Only show stocks and sub-samplesboth stock sources and sub-samples
    Only show sub-samplesonly sub-samples
    Only show in-useonly in-use
    Only show stock (non in-use)only stock not in-use
    Only show received itemsonly items that are received

    There is a checkbox for Show original values. The activity/quantity is switchable between current decay corrected, and nominal/original value.

    There are two additional buttons in the header bar: Add Open Source, and Export.

    Add Open Source

    Opens the Add Open Source Panel. The panel allows you to create an open source.

    Export

    Exports the current table and data as a .xlsx file.

    Fields

    Referenceunique reference code of compound /sub-sample
    Compoundname or description of compound
    Nuclideradionuclide that it contains
    Date Receiveddate/time received
    Quantitycurrent or original quantity
    Activitycurrent decay corrected, or nominal/original activity
    Concentrationcurrent decay corrected, or original concentration
    Specific Activityspecific activity
    Reference Datethe reference/activity date of the compound
    Ownercurrent owner
    Projectproject the compound is for
    Protocol/Licenseprotocol, licence, SOP if being used
    Locationcurrent location/store
    Batch/Lot Numberbatch and/or lot numbers
    Expiry Dateexpiry date
    Catalogue Codesupplier catalogue code
    Supplierthe supplier of the compound
    Order Numberthe purchase order number of the compound
    Costthe cost of the compound
    Received Bywho received the compound
    Study Projectthe project or study the compound is for
    Locationwhere the compound will be used/kept
    Notesa free text note can be recorded against the compound

    Table

    The table displays data in accordance to the filters.

    Open source status is indicated by colour according to the legend. The statuses are defined below.

    AvailableThe source is available
    In-use/SubsampleThe source is in-use
    ExpiredThe source is expired

    Clicking on an item on the table opens up an information panel displaying further details about the item.

    Table Settings can be edited by selecting the gear button at the top right of the table.

    Panel

    At the bottom of the panel are a number of buttons.

    View

    Opens up the Single Open Source page for the selected item.

    Edit

    Allows the user to edit the details of the selected open source.

    This opens the Edit Open Source form panel. It is identical in operation to the Create Open Source panel.

    Copy to Clipboard

    The details of an individual compound can be copied to the clipboard.

    Prints a label for the selected open source. Label formats can be configured within the setup.

    Delete

    Allows the user to delete the selected open source.

    This opens up the Delete Open Source audit panel.
