Add an Acquisition Permit Limit

    This can only be performed in Administrator Mode

    1. From the Main Navigation menu, select the Setup tab.
    2. Scroll to the Permits section, and select Acquisition Permit from the list (opens the Acquisition Permit screen).
    3. Select the correct permit from the dropdown at the top of the screen.
    4. Select the Add Acquisition Limit button from the top of the screen (opens the Add Acquisition Limit panel).
    5. The panel contains a form to enter data about the Acquisition limit to be added.
    6. From the Department dropdown, select whether the limit is for the whole site, or a specific department.
    7. From the Nuclide Selection, select the required option. A breakdown of the options is given below
    In manual listLimit is for radionuclides selected in Radionuclides dropdown
    Nuclides inLimit is for radionuclides within the group selected in Nuclide Group dropdown
    With half-life less thanLimit is for radionuclides with a half-life less than the input number of days
    All other beta/gammasLimit is for all beta and gamma emitting radionuclides not covered by a different limit
    All other alphasLimit is for all alpha emitting radionuclides not covered by a different limit
    All other positron emittersLimit is for all positron emitting radionuclides not covered by a different limit
    All other nuclidesLimit is for all radionuclides not covered by a different limit
    All beta/gammasLimit is for all beta and gamma emitting radionuclides
    All alphasLimit is for all alpha emitting radionuclides
    All positron emittersLimit is for all positron emitting radionuclides
    All nuclidesLimit is for all radionuclides
    1. Select what is being limited from the Type dropdown, and input the associated limit
    2. Select whether to Calculate activity on reports without checking limits
    3. After filling in the form, select Submit.

    The form is checked for errors. Any errors or missing information will be indicated below the relevant item.
